It's days like today (70 degrees. bright. sunny. In January.) that make me glad to live in Texas. Of course, in six months when it's 90+ degrees outside and humid beyond belief I'll forget how wonderful it is.
I also tend to forget how great it is to be in Texas when I spend all day in an office building that is, I swear, 65 degrees. All day, all year round I go indoors to freeze. Summertime is the worst. It seems this whole state has a sick love affair with air conditioning.
I'm cold all the time anyway (my grandma said I have 'thin blood'), but it seems like I am always cold whenever I'm in a public building in this state. I don't go anywhere without a sweater. Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember it being this way back east.
I guess that's the price I pay for 70 degree days in January.
